"What is the object I'm most proud of? It would have to be the 1968 breaker switch - said Achille Castiglioni, creator of the product in collaboration with his brother Pier Giacomo - Can you believe it? We are now in everyone's house".
The legendary 450, produced by the then VLM of Buccinasco, was born more than 50 years ago from the pencil of one of the greatest protagonists of Italian design, winner of nine Golden Compasses.

The sound of the operating 'click' has entered the collective imagination of every person since, as this small amazing object has been produced more than 25 million times.
Perhaps at night it would do wonders to scroll through the soft textures of our fabric cables to reach by hand to their unmistakable shapes and return automatically searching for the cursor, in the unconscious repetition of a gesture that gives a sensation of memory and beauty.

WARNING: The single pole slider switch is only compatible with the twisted textile cables in the Creative-Cables range (not compatible with round cables).
